French Press Directions
Step1.
Place the Bodum Chambord Coffee maker on a dry and leval surface. Use 1-2 tablespoons of coarse ground coffee per 4 oz. cup. The coffee may be a little storng with those measurements and you may have to experiment with the amount of coffee to suit your taste.
Step 2
Pour near boiling water into the pot, over the grounds to approximately one inch below the pour spout. Stir the coffee gently. Place the lid on the pot with the plunger in the raised position so the filter assembly rests on top of the coffee mixter. Allow the coffee to brew 4 minutes, but DO NOT push the plunger down.
Step 3
Hold the handle of the coffee maker with one hand and gently press the plunger down, using only your fingertips to grasp the knob. Never force the plunger down. If it is difficult to press, pull the plunger back up slightly and then press down again.
Step 4
Once the knob has been completely depressed, you're ready to pour the coffee and enjoy.
