Jim Beam Grilled Chicken Shish

Marinated chicken strips and vegetables skewered on a wooden skewer and grilled over hot coals. Soak your skewers in Jim Beam Bourbon before grilling to impart added flavor from the inside. Just be sure to cover the skewer end to end with meat and veggies to avoid flare ups.

Serves Up To: 8 Servings
Cook Time: 15 Minutes

Ingredients


2 ea Chicken Breasts
1 large Zucchini
1 large Yellow Squash
1 large Bell Peppers
1/2 pt Button Mushrooms
8 each 8" Wooden Skewers
6 oz Jim Beam Original Marinade

Directions

1. Cut chicken breasts into 1/2 inch cubes.
2. Cut zucchini and squash in half lengthwise and then slice into 1/4 thick half circles.
3. Cut mushroom caps into quarters.
4. Toss chicken, vegetables, and Jim Beam Original Marinade together and let sit for 1 hour.
5. Soak skewers in Jim Beam Bourbon while chicken and vegetables marinate
6. Skewer the chicken and vegetables onto the skewers, being sure to cover the skewers completely to avoid flare-ups on the grill.
7. Grill the skewers until chicken is cooked thoroughly and vegetables are tender.
